The Workplace Center at Columbia School of Social Work is a nationally recognized center of innovation and best practice, leading the way in the development of effective strategies to ensure that all people can maintain economic independence and participate successfully in today’s workplace to reap the benefits that work provides. 

Staffed by an expert interdisciplinary team, the Center is a great resource for organizations seeking to plan, develop and/or implement evidence-informed, developmentally appropriate career-related programs and services. The Center has assisted public and private employers including social service organizations, major corporations, government agencies, universities and trade unions both internationally and nationally through our work. We have helped organizations in developing policies and programs that are evidence-informed, cost effective and responsive to employee needs and the individuals they serve through our services.
